I have sailed from Costa Rica in the Pacific through the Panama Canal, to Grenada and as far north as the Chesapeake Bay. I lived in the British Virgin Islands while I was teaching sailing full time on both monohulls and catamarans.  I have sailed up and down the Caribbean island chain numerous times, and my favorite places there are Grenada and Iles des Saintes south of Martinique. From storms to smooth sailing, I've seen many types of conditions on many different boats. I've logged time as captain on Beneteaus, Leopards, Lagoons, Bavarias, NautiTechs, Jeanneaus, and many other boats.
